Danielle Darrieux, France movie star most notably known for her post war films, has died aged 100 at her home close to Paris, her partner revealed Thursday.
After 10 decades and over 140 film appearances alongside t.v drama which started at a teen age of 14 with the comedy "le Bal".
Darrieux rose to stardom in the 1930s where she played side by side Douglas Fairbanks Jr in one of the best Hollywood romance "The rage of Paris" in 1938. And fans kept coming back for more of her rivetingly possessive beauty and her mastery of the screen.
Darrieux, who died on Tuesday was very much active even at 99 and was a voice artist for the grandmother in Marine Satrapis's 2007 animated hit "Persepolis".
