Fefegha also said that the State Governments move to take up the funding of the primary Education is the constitutional responsibility of the Local Government which now have less than enough to uphold their duty.
He was quick to also reveal that the State governments check on the revenue space of the councils were not enough to meet up with the salary demands of the primary school teachers which had lead to an enormous mountain of unpaid salaries.
Fefegha has now been moved to the Ministry of mineral resources.
At the concise Event, Obuebite said the government had declared a state of emergency in the education sector and had splurged in about N55 billion towards it's revival since 2012. Also bringing to bare the commitment of the state government to place a higher priority to the education sector.
He promised that his tenure would focus extensively on the teachers welfare and capacity building while assuring of the state governments mandate to clear the heap of unpaid salaries owed to school teachers in state.
